Vice President, Global Regulatory Policy Karen Noonan works to develop and strengthen relationships with regulatory agencies and ACRO partners worldwide.
Karen A. Noonan just recently joined ACRO in the newly formed role of Vice President, Global Regulatory Policy. Boasting over a decade of health policy, alliance building and legislative experience, Karen works to further ACRO’s mission by building and strengthening relationships with regulators and alliance partners in the United States, Europe, and worldwide. Karen most recently served as Senior Advisor for Health Policy at Onyx Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, she was Director of State Government Affairs and Grassroots Advocacy at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). Leveraging her vast experience, Karen helps ACRO and our members participate in shaping regulatory policy that advances clinical research and allows CROs to take a more pro-active position in new drug and medical product development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Western Washington University and has taught political science courses at the University of Washington.
