COMMITTEES

  • AI/ML in Drug Development Committee:
    • This committee convenes member company subject matter experts engaged in the development and use of AI/ML tools in the design, conduct, oversight, and analysis of clinical trials.
  • CISO Working Group:
    • This committee aims to educate stakeholders regarding good information security practices, and may develop statements of best practices, as appropriate. 
  • Clinical Trial Capacity in India Committee:
    • This committee is comprised mostly of on-the-ground executives in India who hold an interest in driving clinical trials into the country.
  • Clinical Trial Continuity Team:
    • The team is an information-sharing mechanism for ACRO members to discuss clinical trial and workforce operations in Ukraine, Russia, Israel and the surrounding Middle East region. 
  • Communications Committee:
    • This committee convenes member companies to discuss ACRO’s latest communications initiatives and opportunities for member participation, as well as how ACRO can strategically engage with and amplify m
  • European Engagement Committee:
    • The committee analyzes regulatory policy and legislation impacting the clinical research industry at the pan-European and national levels in Europe.
  • Global Data Protection & Privacy Committee:
    • This committee is comprised of member company data protection and privacy professionals and leads the Association’s data protection and privacy efforts.
  • Patient Access to Clinical Trials (PACT) Committee:
    • The committee brings together member company representatives to develop strategies for engagement on issues related to patient access to clinical trials.
  • RBQM Engagement Committee:
    • This team conducts an annual landscape survey of how Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) is being used in clinical trials, and promotes the adoption of a risk-based quality management framework.
  • Sustainability Committee:
    • The committee brings together member company representatives focused on advancing sustainable practices in clinical research. 
  • Strategic Engagement Group:
    • This committee is made up of executive-level leadership to ensure ACRO remains nimble, quick to respond, and efficient at the committee-level.
