ACRO & Research! America Survey, 2023
Commissioned by ACRO and Research!America, the October 2023 national survey captures Americans’ views on clinical trials and clinical research.
The survey found that an overwhelming majority of Americans (87%) agree that health care professionals should discuss clinical trials with patients diagnosed with a disease as part of their standard of care. Further, sixty-one (61%) percent agree that consideration of clinical trial participation should be a part of regular health care whether patients are healthy or ill, up from 44% in 2017.
