Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

ACRO’s AI/ML Committee brings together member company subject matter experts engaged in the development and use of AI/ML tools in the design, conduct, oversight, and analysis of clinical trials.

Diversity & Inclusion in Clinical Trials

ACRO’s Diversity and Inclusion in Clinical Trials Committee was formed in 2020 as a part of ACRO’s ongoing efforts to work towards advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the clinical research ecosystem.

Risk-Based Quality Management

Risk-based monitoring is an adaptive approach that directs monitoring focus and activities to the evolving areas of greatest need which have the most potential to impact patient safety and data quality.

Decentralized Clinical Trials

ACRO members work to examine the barriers to adoption of DCTs and create quality-based principles and tools to facilitate implementation of decentralized clinical trials.

Interpreting ICH E6(R3)

To assist key industry stakeholders in easing challenges associated with operationalizing the requirements of the new ICH E6(R3) guidelines, ACRO has partnered with TransCelerate Biopharma Inc. to co-develop several resources focused on risk management and data governance.

Informational Security Practices in Clinical Trials

The CISO Committee brings together member company Chief Information Security Officers and others involved in information security to share threat and related security information and to educate stakeholders on acceptable information security practices.

Sustainability in Clinical Trials

The Sustainability Committee brings together ACRO member company representatives, including sustainability officers and other stakeholders, focused on reducing the environmental impact of clinical research and clinical trials.

Global Data Protection & Privacy

ACRO’s GDPP Committee connects representatives of member companies with a range of stakeholders on important issues of privacy, data protection, and data security.
